Save to your city mapDorotheum is the largest auction house in Central Europe and has a long successful history dating back to 1707. They auction all sorts of items but are best known for their auctions of antiques and paintings. Every so often they also host exhibitions of great art. The house itself is free to visit, enjoy the atmosphere of an auction, or maybe even put in a bid! On the second floor you will find the Dorotheum Cafe which serves some delicious Viennese delicacies and good coffee.
The Dorotheum has always the best quality when it comes to antique furniture and jewellery.
