Save to your city mapThe Palazzo Fortuny building was originally a grand private residence owned by the Pesaro family. In more recent centuries it was transformed by Mariano Fortuny into a workshop for photography, stage-design, textiles, and painting. Upon his death his wife donated the venture to the city of Venice. It now exhibits a collection of paintings, light displays, photography, textiles, and fashion, in the form of consistently changing temporary exhibitions.
