Suggestme.com, a website that allows user to create their own personal city maps on the basis of social media, is expanding its service to include a million sights.
Those who love to go on city trips know that discovering interesting things to see and do is nearly as fun as the trip itself. This is where Suggestme comes into play, by providing a way to easily assemble spots in one place. As well as suggestions from social media, travelers also have the possibility of adding their own spots to their city map. Everything is then combined onto one personal city map and sent directly to the customer.
Peter Bosma, one of the owners of Suggestme explains; 'Users of the site have told us that as well as our suggestions, they wanted to add their own highlights. This is now possible and users can add as many personal spots as they like, for example these could be hotels, a restaurant that was a tip from a friend, or a specific address. The search machine has also been extended with a link to external websites. Through this function users can access more than 1,000,000 new spots. We know that travelers tend to find standard city maps irritating, and with this update today, Suggestme expects to improve the travel experiences of our city trippers!'
