Save to your city mapThe Adam Mickiewicz Monument can be found on the main Market Square in Kraków. The monument is dedicated to the Polish poet, Adam Mickiewicz, whose works remain popular today, and the man himself is buried in the Wawel Cathedral. The original monument was erected in 1898 but was destroyed during the German invasion in 1940, and wasn't restored until 1955.
