Save to your city mapBoston City Hall is part of the Government Center complex in downtown Boston. Designed by Gerhard Kallmann, it was put to use in the late 1960's, and is used today as the seat of government, the Mayor's office, and the City Council. The City Hall is surrounded by a large plaza, which is also close to the Faneuil Hall marketplace.
