Save to your city mapThe Stedelijk Museum is an international museum, dedicated to modern and contemporary art and design. It is located on the Museum Square, south of the city center of Amsterdam. The museum was founded in 1874, and gained international fame for exhibiting a collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh, which later moved to the Van Gogh Museum.
