Save to your city mapThe Rijksmuseum is the National Museum of the Netherlands and holds a number of works by world-famous Dutch masters. See the "De Nachtwacht" by Rembrandt van Rijn and "Het Melkmeisje" by Johannes Vermeer among others. As well as art, there are a number of exhibitions dedicated to Dutch history and developments. The museum was only recently reopened in 2013, after an extensive renovation project.
